Are you a CSWIP Welding Inspector hoping to advance your career? TWI Training has a range of training programmes to help you take the next step.

An advanced qualification in welding inspection can open doors and create opportunities all over the world. By gaining internationally recognised certification you will be more attractive to employers, eligible for more jobs and able to carry out a broader and more varied range of duties.

CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector

The most obvious progression for a CSWIP Welding Inspector is to train to become a CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector. This will qualify you for a greater range of welding activities and more complex projects, which could lead to a role as a welding supervisor or quality control coordinator.

TWI Training now offers CSWIP training with pre-course eLearning, enabling you to familiarise yourself with key concepts before entering the classroom.

CSWIP Certification of Personnel Reviewing Welding Procedures to ASME IX

This course will give you the competence needed to assess compliance with the widely used welding standard ASME IX. It is highly valuable for welding inspectors, quality assurance or quality control personnel and welding coordinators.

CSWIP Welding Quality Control Coordinator

Are you an established welding inspector interested in moving into quality control management? This qualification for experienced welding inspectors will support that progression, showing prospective employers that you have the competence required to take responsibility for coordinating quality control.

EWF/IIW Welding Diploma – Specialist Level

As a certified CSWIP Welding Inspector you are eligible to pursue EWF/IIW Welding Specialist status. This will qualify you for the role of Responsible Welding Coordinator, as it covers all the essential welding related tasks described in ISO 3834. Gaining the specialist-level diploma could also lead to opportunities as a quality assurance coordinator, welding technician or a welding engineer. Download our brochure (PDF format).

If you wish to take this course, you may be able to get a professional and career development loan to help you pay for it . Contact the National Career Service on 0800 100 900 for more information.

Practical welding

Finally, if you want to refresh or improve your welding skills, TWI Training offers a range of practical courses. We can deliver them at your premises, or combine modules to create tailor-made programmes.
