Tat-Hean Gan joined TWI in 2006 as a Senior Project Leader in LRU. He later became the LRU Section Manager and then in 2008 he progressed to the Head of Business Development for the NDT Group. In 2011 Tat-Hean became the Technology Group Manager before progressing to his current role as Business Group Manager. He is also the Associate Director at TWI as well as being a Professor at Brunel University, London.
Tat-Hean specialises in non destructive testing (NDT) solutions, signal processing, high resolution imaging techniques, structural and condition monitoring, technology transfer, technology exploitation, SME business development, IP and patents, project management, collaborative programmes (TSB, FP7, RDA), EPSRC technology centre development, public funding, international business and international recruitment for engineering services.
