A delegation from the UK’s Turkish Embassy, including the UK’s ambassador to Turkey, visited the Center for Solar Energy Research and Applications on 9 June 2022.
The delegates’ visit took place at the campus of GeoSmart project partner METU, providing the perfect opportunity to present on the work of the project.
The short presentation from METU personnel was followed by discussions around opportunities for future collaboration between the UK and Turkey in support of the clean energy transition as well as to strengthen energy security.
The GEOSMART project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Grant agreement 818576.
