TWI Consultant, Raja Khan is at PM-HIP 2026, which is taking place 4-5 November at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA.
As well as participating in the PM-HIP 2026 workshop, Raja, who is a member of PM-HIP Steering Committee, is also a panellist for the ‘Canister Innovation: Design to Production’ session.
Building on the inaugural workshop in 2024, this event was created to accelerate the development and adoption of Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology to fabricate large-scale components across nuclear, energy, oil and gas, aerospace, and national security applications.
The goals of the event include:
- Advance the adoption of PM-HIP technologies through collaborative discussions centred on real-world component manufacturing challenges, qualification pathways, domestic supply chain development, and scalable deployment strategies for critical industrial, energy, and defence applications
- Create a sustained technical exchange platform where stakeholders can identify gaps, brainstorm practical solution pathways, and develop collaborative roadmaps for transitioning PM-HIP technologies into broader industrial use
Respected in his field, Raja’s participation in this event acts as another demonstration of the high regard in which TWI’s experts are held by industry.
