TWI Senior Engineer for laser additive manufacturing, Satish Bhattiprolu is due to present at Euro PM2026 Congress and Exhibition, which is to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from 11–14 October 2026.
He will present the paper, ‘A Comparative Study of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of 300M Steel produced by Coaxial Laser Directed Energy Deposition using Powder and Wire,’ for which he was the lead author, as part of the event’s additive manufacturing scientific topic theme.
The Euro PM2026 Congress and Exhibition, which is organised by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), will feature a world-class technical programme and a 2500m² exhibition showcasing the latest innovations from the global powder metallurgy (PM) supply chain.
In addition, over 200 oral and poster presentations will highlight the latest developments in powder metallurgy throughout three full days of plenary sessions, keynote lectures, and specialised seminars.
Alongside the technical content, the event will include a welcome reception, gala dinner, and other social activities, providing opportunities to network within the international PM community, including industry leaders, decision-makers, leading academics, and representatives from across the entire PM supply chain.
