The GeoSmart project team are due to hold a workshop at the upcoming EGEC Geothermal Power Conference 2024 on 3 July, 2024 at the Sofitel Brussels Europe.
The workshop, which takes place from 13:45-15:35, will introduce attendees to the innovations developed within the framework of the GeoSmart project, including an update on the status and potential of the geothermal market in Belgium.
The workshop will include a discussion of the possible impact of Thermocline storage in the Belgian context and provide details of complementary alternatives to increasing the flexibility and efficiency of geothermal applications. Finally, the results of the national consultation of key geothermal stakeholders as conducted by the Geosmart project will be reported and discussed with the audience.
You need to register to attend this event but, in return, you will gain valuable insights into the market opportunities and innovative solutions that are driving the future of the geothermal energy sector.
Registration is now open for the Geothermal Power Conference, which promises to deliver an inspiring, diverse programme complemented by networking sessions and social activities based around the future of geothermal electricity, thermal storage and lithium.
With geothermal energy emerging as a reliable, resilient, and locally-sourced alternative to fossil fuels, this event provides a forum to discuss its pivotal role in Europe’s decarbonisation journey.
