We are pleased to announce that we have extended the range of support we can offer our Industrial Members with the installation of new electron beam welding equipment at TWI’s headquarters near Cambridge.
Commonly used within aerospace and nuclear manufacture, the CNC-controlled machine was originally purchased for use on linear accelerator cavities.
It provides high precision welding with a great surface finishes and includes three different gun mounting positions, allowing a wide range of components to be addressed.
