TWI’s Lasers Section Manager, Paola De Bono is one of the scheduled speakers at the ‘EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Photonics for Mobility of the Future.’
The free-to-attend online event, organised by European Photonics Industry Consortium’s (EPIC) in cooperation with the Association of Industrial Laser Users (AILU) is taking place on Monday 17 October 2022.
Paola will present on the topic of, ‘Laser Applications Addressing Joining Challenges for Electrification.’
The presentation will show how TWI’s expertise in welding and joining has helped industry address challenges and assist with knowledge transfer for robust technology scale-up for the application of laser welding.
Other speakers at the event include Reiner Ramsayer (Chief Expert and Group Manager at Bosch), Phil Carr (Director of Carr’s Welding), Winfried Reeb (Head of Business Unit Active Components at Laser Components) and Phil Bravo (President and Co-Founder of Outsight).
