TWIIN Annual Convention 2020 to be Held Online

The TWI Innovation Network (TWIIN) will host its Annual Convention on Wednesday 9 December 2020. The event will be held online in a virtual format this year, uniting experts from industry and academia along with entrepreneurs, innovators and forward-thinking companies and organisations from around the globe.

This informative and engaging interactive day will begin at 9:30, with a focus on engineering innovation and collaborative technology development.

The Convention will include:

  • Presentations from key names in the innovation landscape, explaining routes and assistance to enable successful technology projects
  • Innovation and SME pitches showcasing the latest technologies
  • 1-to-1 Innovation clinics
  • Networking sessions where you can connect and catch up with fellow attendees, TWI Industrial Members, partners and staff, and the event’s speakers

Event speakers on the day will include Prof Tat-Hean Gan, Director of Innovation and Skills (TWI Ltd), Dr Mark Barnett, Commercial Director (Fullagar Technologies Ltd), Benjamin Reid, Co-Founding Partner (Aspremont), Angela Angulo, Innovation Acceleration Manager (TWI Ltd), Laurence Robinson, TIM Team Manager (TWI Ltd), and other guest speakers including those from the TWI Innovation Centres. Dr Cem Selcuk, Head of Business Development (TWIIN) will chair the Convention.

The innovation clinics will provide a unique opportunity to find out how our Technology Innovation Management team can help businesses join leading research and development (R&D) projects and access public funding.  These clinics can be booked via the Convention registration link below, with appointments being organised on a first-come-first-served basis.
