The Welding Institute is welcoming nominations for the 2020 annual awards.
Among the awards for which we are seeking nominations is the Richard Dolby - Rolls-Royce Prize, which is presented biennially by the Welding Institute’s Younger Members’ Committee.
The award is conferred to any young person (under 35 years of age), who has demonstrated success and enthusiasm for welding, joining and / or materials engineering during the early stage of their career.
The last winner was Filimeno Martina of Cranfield University, who is pictured below with Richard Dolby and Alan Caborn (Rolls-Royce).
The award includes a £1,000 cash prize for the winner and nominations close on 15 November 2019.
