TWI’s Principal Ferrous Metallurgist, Joanna Nicholas flew out to Malaysia to deliver a training course as part of the IIW Welding Engineer Diploma.
While most courses in the region are delivered by local trainers, TWI flew their specialist out to cover this course due to the depth of metallurgical knowledge required.
The training, which covered the MAB 3 module, was delivered to seven candidates at TWI’s South East Asia offices on behalf of the Welding Institute (Malaysia).
The IIW Diploma confirms a high level of knowledge and expertise that is recognised around the world and supports the quality requirements for welding coordinators from a range of applications, materials and processes.
The successful training programme received positive feedback from the candidates. If you are interested in taking this course in the UK, Malaysia or elsewhere, please see our training website for more details.
