Corporate and Business Support

Whichever role you join us in, you’ll be working to help us deliver a first class service to our customers.

Our commercial team handles a range of legal matters from drafting contracts for Members and collaborative projects to protecting our intellectual property and trademarks.
Our finance team provides information and analysis to support decision-making, as well as preparing the budgets and annual accounts.
Our hospitality team are responsible for the day-to-day management of our conference centre and accommodation. Our spacious, purpose-built conference centre is available for businesses seeking a light and contemporary venue for their events.
Our human resources team aims to create a work environment where staff can reach their full potential. We look for HR generalists and administrators to help us deliver this goal.
Our information services team support our staff and customers with their technical enquiries, including contract research on new or existing products and advice on specific issues. The team has access to a comprehensive library, database, records and archives to support them with their work.
We regularly recruit for a range of information technology roles to support and develop our IT systems, including helpdesk administrators, project managers, systems administrators, business support analysts and software engineers.
Our purchasing team manages the contractual arrangements for a large supplier base, ensuring TWI receives the goods and services it needs in a timely fashion.
TWI site services are responsible for the maintenance of our buildings. The team consists of electricians, plumbers, and carpenters.
Our quality and safety team ensures that we have a safe working environment. Our commitment to quality and safety is evidenced by our external certifications to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. The team provides health, safety and environmental advice, audits and in-house calibration to UKAS standards for all of our sites in the UK. The team works with technical and occupational health specialists to ensure the success of TWI’s research work.
