Four new reports are available to TWI Industrial Members under our Joint Industry Project (JIP) Buy-back Scheme.
A JIP is a work programme that is of mutual interest to a number of organisations who each contribute to fund the work. Because the funding is split between a group of sponsor organisations, with each receiving substantially more results for their investment than they would with a single-company sponsorship.
The TWI JIP programme has been in operation since 1963, meaning that there is a large body of information now available to TWI Members.
We currently have four new reports available to Industrial Members as part of the JIP Buy- back Scheme, covering topics including fatigue performance, fracture toughness, cathodic protection, and the use of mechanically lined pipes:
- State of the Art Review of the Assessment Qualification and use of Mechanically Lined Pipes (MLPs)
- Fatigue Performance of Mooring Chains in Seawater
- Fracture Toughness Testing of Steels Subject to Sour Water
- Effect of Cathodic Protection on Thermally Sprayed Aluminium Coatings at Elevated Temperature
