TWI Consultant, Dr Raja Khan is due to share his expertise during a presentation at The European Powder Metallurgy Congress (Euro PM 2025) on 17 September, 2025.
The European Powder Metallurgy Congress is an annual event organised by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA), bringing together the international PM community to meet suppliers, producers, and end-users as well as discovering the latest innovations in PM technology.
This year’s event will see it visit Glasgow for the first time in its history, where it will take place from 14-17 September at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).
Raja’s presentation will take place from 8:30-10:00am on 17 September, 2025, during Session 44 on Applications SIS - Energy - Power Generation.
Taking place in the Alsh 2 room, Raja’s presentation will explore the topic of ‘Near Net Shape Manufacturing of Complex Industrial Parts.’
Near net shape (NNS) manufacturing is already in use in high-value industry sectors such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, nuclear and defence, where it saves costs while improving material efficiencies and sustainability by creating items that are close to their final shape and dimensions. As well as reducing material waste and the associated costs, NNS manufacturing reduces the need for post-processing, lowering production times.
We are delighted that Raja has been invited to present at this European-wide annual event, once-again showing the technical excellence and expertise available to Industrial Members of TWI.
