We recently held a special networking meeting for a delegation of experts from TWI Industrial Members, Shell.
The delegation was invited along to TWI’s headquarters near Cambridge, UK, where they were able to connect with a number of our technical and industry experts.
Shell’s delegation included their Global Head of Mechanical Engineering, Lucy Ferguson, Senior Researcher for Materials and Corrosion, Willem Maarten van Haaften, Senior Inspection and Integrity Engineer, Bostjan Bezensek, the Senior I&M Lead for Welding and NDE, Kevin Millican, and seven other engineers, inspectors and managers.
During the one-day visit, the delegation were provided with presentations of TWI expertise and capabilities, including a number of case studies, as well as a tour of our labs and discussions of how we can help Shell solve some of their challenges going forward.
The meeting provided us with a great opportunity to connect and develop closer relations with Shell, better understanding their needs and showing them more detail about the many capabilities that we offer all of our Industrial Members.
TWI staff and Shell delegates
