TWI Technical Enquiry Service: We work on large and small projects alongside our Industrial Members, offering technical advice and business guidance, but you don’t need to be involved in an ongoing project with us to take advantage of our expertise. Industrial Members are welcome to use our technical enquiry service to get answers via email, telephone or through our website.
2. Library and Information Services: TWI holds a wealth of information that can be accessed by our Members. This includes online information resources such as our knowledge summaries, FAQs, best practice guides and the Weldasearch^TM In addition, your membership allows you to access published papers from TWI experts and full reports from our core research programme projects. 3. Free Professional Membership: As an Industrial Member, you are entitled to free one-year AWeldI professional memberships to The Welding Institute, the leading engineering institution supporting welding and joining professionals with welding, joining and allied technologies. Membership of The Welding Institute will help your staff develop their knowledge and skills through their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), while being able to network with other Professional Members. In addition, The Institute holds special Technical Group webinars and events for Members, where speakers with specialised and diverse experience and backgrounds share their knowledge of subjects including welding practice, welding technology, metals and non-metals, other joining technologies, surface treatments, inspection, non-destructive test, integrity assessment and integrity management across all industries, from micro-electronics to heavy industry.
