TWI is taking part in the International Automotive Body Congress (IABC) conference on 23 and 24 September.
The IABC was the world’s first major automotive conference focused on the development of vehicle body architecture and assembly processes. Today it remains the largest conference focused on the vehicle body in the Americas.
The IABC 2020 conference is focused specifically on the requirements of electric vehicles, with highlights including insights into new vehicle developments from major global original equipment manufacturers including General Motors, Ford, Opel and Honda.
Materials suppliers and technology providers are presenting new developments that allow the performance of vehicle bodies to continue advancing.
TWI has been invited to present on two topics:
- Joining process innovations for high performance electric vehicle body structures
- Coreflow, a system for sub-surface cooling channels within a battery housing structure
