Fracture Integrity and Hydrogen Embrittlement Event

Wed, 16 December, 2020

TWI hosted a successful webinar about ‘Fracture Integrity and Hydrogen Embrittlement’ on 9 December 2020.

The event attracted nearly 700 registrants from 60 different countries, with over 250 people attending the virtual event on the day. The webinar saw a good degree of interaction between the attendees and our experts, with over 40 questions being posed to experts and plenty of positive feedback from the attendees on the day.

Muhammad Ali, who manages TWI’s Fracture Integrity Management Section, and Menno Hoekstra, who is TWI’s Sour Testing Technology Manager, delivered presentations containing details of our testing capabilities and addressed the ECA of structures operating under conditions that lead to hydrogen embrittlement.

We would like to thank the speakers for their presentations and contributions to the lively Q&A sessions that followed, as well as thanking all of those who took time to attend the virtual event.

The recording of the event is now available to view online at the following link: https://youtu.be/ToPsR7ROuoQ
