TWI has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with cold spray additive manufacturing technology specialists, Titomic.
This cold spray-related agreement enables us to deliver end-to-end capabilities, from materials and process development through to proof of concept, accreditation and certification.
With the ability to scale up to meet real-world demands, this collaborative agreement strengthens our relationship with Titomic, who have also recently become TWI Industrial Members.
Speaking on the MoU, TWI’s Director of Technology, Malcolm Lee said, “This partnership with Titomic provides a platform for further collaboration and the continued advancement of cold spray technology as a reliable solution for industry. Building upon decades of experience in additive manufacturing and allied technologies, this agreement opens up new opportunities for our Industrial Members.”

This MoU marks the first step towards providing a credible, industrial ‘shop window’ for cold spray technology in the UK.
