TWI Chief Engineer, Scott Andrews was on hand this week to evaluate a new plastic welding tool created by Plastic Repairs.
Scott assessed one of the first batch of Micro Tack plastic welders that have been designed from the outset to be accessible and affordable in order to give young people valuable skills in repairing plastics.
We invited Keven Chappell from Plastic Repairs to our headquarters near Cambridge to evaluate the new micro welding tool, which has already garnered an outstanding response from both the automotive sector and welder training colleges.
We were delighted to be chosen to have a first look at this new tool and to see how TWI can support in the ongoing development.
