TWI Senior Engineer Jackson Wo was in Calgary, Canada for the International Pipeline Conference and Expo 2026 (ICPE2026), where he was able to support Fabricio Pinheiro dos Santos from Petrobras in presenting a paper.
The paper, ‘Stress Corrosion Cracking of Flexible Steel Pipe Wires in CO2 Environments’ was named as the ‘Best Paper in Conference’ and also won the Calgary Award at the Rio Pipeline Conference in Brazil last year.
As a result of this recognition, Fabricio Pinheiro of TWI industrial Member company Petrobras was invited to present at IPCE2026, with assistance from Jackson Wo.

Jackson attended the conference from 21 to 25 September, where he was also able to meet Hadi Nazaripoor from Mattr, who are also a TWI Industrial Member company, before conducting a follow-up visit to their offices a few days later.
