Colleagues at TWI in Cambridge came together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month’s ‘Wear It Pink Day’ to raise money with a bake sale.
Staff baked and brought in cakes for sale to colleagues during the day with others showing support by wearing pink, manning the stand to make sales, and setting up / tidying the stand at the start and end of the day.
There was also a competition to win a cake by guessing how many calls and voicemails specialist NHS breast cancer nurses responded to over the past 12-months.
With over £300 raised on the day (and more donations still being made throughout the week), it was fantastic to see staff once-again come together for a good cause, while there was also information available to staff on the day.
