Representatives from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) visited our headquarters near Cambridge on 15 July 2026 for discussions about how we support our Members and wider industry operating in health and safety-critical environments.
From advancing engineering knowledge and developing industry standards, to supporting asset integrity, safety, reliability, and skills development, TWI plays an important role in helping organisations manage risk and maintain public and workforce safety.
Speaking on the visit by the HSE, TWI Director of Technology Malcolm Lee said, “Thank you to the HSE team for taking the time to visit and for the insightful conversations. It was a great opportunity to share perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing industry, and how collaboration can help deliver safer and more sustainable outcomes.”
We are pleased to be able to host the HSE for discussions that draw upon our industry-wide knowledge and expertise, while also demonstrating the trust we have across government, industry and academia.
