TWI is the European Space Agency (ESA) Technology Broker for the UK, acting as a conduit between ESA and organisations who wish to get involved with the space sector.
Our goal is to leverage innovative technologies from various sectors to benefit the commercial goals of ESA, while also streamlining the on-boarding process into ESA programmes through tailored training and support to help you understand and respond to opportunities and calls from ESA.
This March, ESA are holding four ‘ESA 101’ events across the UK to offer information to companies and academic institutions with little or no knowledge of ESA and their aims.
These dedicated events will provide information on subjects including ESA’s industrial policy, current activity and programmes, the basics of ESA procurement, and how to navigate through the ESA STAR publication system.
Delivering practical information to help you engage with the ESA and the UK Space Agency, who are collaborating for these four talks, these events will also provide an opportunity to connect with industry peers and hear first-hand from businesses that have successfully collaborated with ESA. There will also be ample opportunity to aks questions of ESA, UK Space Agency, the Space Cluster, and ESA Ambassador teams, who will all be available during the events.
Representatives from TWI will be available at all four events to discuss our role as the ESA Technology Broker for the UK and attendees at each half-day event will also be invited to attend a networking lunch.
