TWI Shortlisted for Career Wales’ ‘Valued Partner Awards’

Thu, 18 December, 2025

We are delighted to announce that TWI Wales has been shortlisted as part of Career Wales’ ‘Valued Partner Awards.’

Career Wales is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Welsh Government that provides independent and impartial careers information, advice, and guidance service for people of all ages in Wales.

Their Valued Partner Awards were created to recognise and thank the businesses that have worked with them in helping schools and young people to engage with the world of work.

Lee Douglas, Nathan Hartley, and Ian Nicholson from our team at TWI Wales have been particularly active in their outreach efforts in promoting STEM and engineering careers to young people, which has led to our nomination in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category.

This recognition is a fantastic acknowledgement of our work to inspire and motivate the next generation by linking their studies to real-world careers.

We have been invited to attend the Valued Partner Awards ceremony at The Neuadd within the Senedd, Cardiff Bay, on Wednesday, 28 January, 2026.
