There is still time to register for our upcoming cold spray event and find out how this technology could reduce costs, extend the lifecycle of assets and provide additional properties to parts.
The in-person seminar, ‘Opportunities and Challenges with Cold Spray in Industry,’ is taking place at our headquarters near Cambridge, UK, on 18 March, 2025, and features expert speakers from TWI, UKAEA, the European Space Agency, Tokamak, the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Metal Powder Emergence Ltd, and Titomic.
Drawing insights from a range of industries, this event will reveal how cold spray technologies can revolutionise your operations; providing innovative solutions for material repair, delivering surface enhancements and additional functionalities, and even producing parts through additive manufacture. This event will also address challenges around the uptake and implementation of cold spray technologies, while looking to practical solutions across industry.
Our expert speakers for the day include:
- Gordon Kerr, CEO (Metal Powder Emergence (MPE) Ltd)
- Jan Cizek, Associate Professor (Institute of Plasma Physics)
- Neil Wallace, Senior Electric Propulsion (EP) Engineer (European Space Agency)
- Jim Pickles, Head of Reactor Materials (Tokamak Energy)
- Klaas Rozema, President of the EMEA (Titomic)
- Ben Robinson, Section Manager (TWI Ltd)
- Phil McNutt, Principal Engineer (TWI Ltd)
- Dibakor Boruah Senior Project Leader - Surface, Corrosion, and Interface Engineering (TWI Ltd)
