We are now offering bespoke NDT training with our world-leading expert, TWI Technology Fellow, Charles Schneider. Our Technology Fellows are internationally recognised authorities in their fields, with each having made a significant impact through their technical excellence, expertise and knowledge transfer.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) plays a vital role in ensuring components are free from defects and safe for use. Equally important is verifying that the inspection methods themselves are reliable—this is the purpose of inspection qualification.
Charles Schneider, Technology Fellow for NDT at TWI, provides expert insight into the principles and practice of inspection qualification, with a particular focus on the European Network for Inspection Qualification (ENIQ) methodology. Drawing on his extensive experience in the UK nuclear industry, Charles delivers inspection qualification services, including ENIQ-based training.
His training sessions cover the evolution of inspection qualification and examine how different industry sectors and regulatory environments have shaped the varying qualification approaches.
The training features case studies from TWI’s own inspection qualification projects, demonstrating how these principles are applied in real-world situations. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of flaw detection reliability and how qualified inspections enhance safety and regulatory compliance across critical industries.
