TWI has entered into a new partnership with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) to launch a unique, specialised doctorate programme to provide an opportunity for professionals to advance their careers.

The new Innovation and Management PhD has been designed to help participants to gain the advanced knowledge and skills required to lead successful research campaigns.

The five-year, part-time course will provide a competitive edge in the market with professionals capable of leading successful innovation activities

Open to both self-funded learners and those within organisations, the PhD course will allow participants to conduct self-developed research projects with the potential to dramatically benefit their organisations.

"We're very excited to offer this new programme with ARU," said Professor Tat-Hean Gan, Director of Membership, Innovation and Global Operations at TWI, adding, “The course is available to a diverse range of industries and individuals, and it provides participants with the tools to thrive in high-level leadership roles. Upon graduation, participants will be able to demonstrate revolutionary thinking, build robust strategies, and unlock technology potential. They will have the ability to lead their organisations towards success even in the most challenging of times."

Professor Yvonne Barnett, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation from ARU said, “In line with our mission to transform lives through innovative, inclusive and entrepreneurial education and research, ARU is delighted to be working in collaborative partnership with TWI to offer this innovative PhD."

She continued, "Experts from both partners will work to support participants to develop a unique programme of work focussed on creating new insights, and impact for their organisations. This applied focus will help to ensure that the Doctoral graduates will be equipped with new knowledge, methods, networks and insights from other professionals to ensure continued impact and success”.
