Our Thermal Processing Technology section has welcomed a new Senior Project Leader, Vaishali Prabhu.
Vaishali will be working with the team to develop and deliver solutions for brazing, diffusion bonding, powder metallurgy and heat treatment processes.
As a materials engineer (MSc and MTech), Vaishali comes with 14 years of industry experience in the field of powder metallurgy, processing battery materials, REACH, manufacturing, gas turbine materials and has experience of leading process and product development projects from lab scale to production.
Her expertise includes powder characterisation, sintering, HIPing, fundamental alloy design and structure property correlation for tungsten carbide cobalt systems, six sigma lean methodologies and stage gate processes.
Outside of work, Vaishali enjoys travelling, listening to Carnatic music, and is also a certified Bharatanatyam artist.
