We held a Manufacturing Support Services Event at our headquarters near Cambridge on 27 September 2023.
The in-person conference was open for both Industrial Members and non-Members of TWI to attend and see a series of manufacturing-related presentations from both TWI experts and those from outside companies.
The speakers offered details of how TWI can help with manufacturing challenges by supporting design through to final stage manufacture, as well as addressing issues of manufacturing feasibility, and presenting on engineering and manufacturing consultancy services that you can access alongside our specialised production offering.

TWI experts included TWI Research Director Paul Woollin, Principal Project Leader Paul Brooker, Operations Group Manager Mike Nunn and Technology Consultant Doug Wylie. They were joined as speakers by Nick Godfrey of Central Scanning Ltd, Dr Mihai Iovea from Accent Pro 2000 S.R.L., Christopher Corkan from Make UK and Phil Carr of Carrs Welding Ltd.
The event also included a table-top exhibition with exhibitors including Wisersense, Carrs Welding Technologies, Zentech International Ltd, Smart Manufacturing Alliance UK, Accent Pro 2000 srl and Innovate UK Edge.

In addition, the event allowed opportunities for the 35 attendees to network, meet with TWI experts, and take a tour of our facilities to gain a better idea of exactly what we can offer to you as an Industrial Member of TWI.
