TWI and the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI) are delighted to invite representatives from TWI Industrial Member and non-Member companies, together with Members of JITRI, to attend an exciting, two-day conference to be held in person in Nanjing, China on 8-9 November 2023.
The TWI China Conference 2023: Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and Structural Integrity is being co-organised and hosted by TWI and JITRI, with the aim of exploring the theme of ‘Innovation and Manufacturing’ by showcasing recent technology developments at TWI.
Delegates attending the event will have the opportunity to learn about the latest advances and practical experiences in various fields, including friction stir welding (FSW), arc additive manufacturing, digital simulation, surface engineering, lightweighting in the automotive industry, marine structural integrity assessment and hydrogen testing. TWI experts will also be on hand, during the event, to discuss with delegates the challenges and emerging trends related to new technologies, digitalisation, training and certification in industrial applications.
Both days of the conference will include a number of expert speakers who will share their in-depth knowledge of their subject area, together with an accompanying exhibition and plenty of time for peer-to-peer networking.

Day 1 of the conference is open to all companies and organisations. Day 2 of the conference is exclusively for representatives of TWI Industrial Member companies and Members of JITRI.
