TWI’s software development manager, Mark Chinery appeared on a recent episode of the Tech Journeys Podcast.
The episode, ‘Solving Business Problems with Software,’ saw Mark offer some background on his career journey from his university studies to working in software development for BAE Systems and on to joining TWI.
Mark explained his journey from joining TWI as a software developer to now heading up the team and overseeing the development of software solutions for industry. As well as revealing the scope of work undertaken by his experienced team, Mark revealed how he works to ensure his clients are happy both during the development process and with the finished product.
TWI have created a range of welding, integrity management, and non-destructive testing software by using their expertise and through interacting with industry to understand their needs.
The podcast covers topics such as how to go from an idea to an end product as well as communicating with end users and managing the expectations of stakeholders.
