TWI hosted a webinar on 10 December titled, ‘Methods for Assessing Weld Quality and Flaws in Welded Moulded Plastic Components.’
The event saw over 150 people register and nearly 80 attending the webinar on the day. The webinar also saw lots of questions posed to our expert and lots of positive feedback from the attendees.
The presentation from Dr Farshad Salamat-Zadeh, Lead Failure Investigator (non-metallic) Polymer and Composite Technologies Group at TWI Ltd, was well received and contained details of different plastic welding and joining processes, along with two failure investigation case studies and a discussion of suitable techniques for assessing weld quality.
We would like to thank Farshad for his detailed presentation and contribution to the Q&A session that followed, as well as thanking all of those who took time to attend the virtual event.
