CLLAIM Project Additive Manufacturing Conference Announced

Wed, 14 October, 2020

The CLLAIM Project, of which TWI is a part, is holding a final conference on 5 November 2020. The conference is open to anyone who is involved in additive manufacturing (AM) and interested in international qualifications in this field.

The EU co-funded CLLAIM Project is working to create a European AM qualification system for operators, instructors, supervisors and designers in order to meet the needs of the AM market.

In addition to the conference, the CLLAIM partners are seeking volunteers to join the UK national committee for AM qualification. Experts, VET providers, teachers, trainers, policy / decision makers, authorised national bodies, authorised training bodies, industry and other additive manufacturing stakeholders are invited to participate by becoming members of the committee.

The committee will offer opportunities to network and exchange ideas with national experts and stakeholders of the additive manufacturing industry, while also obtaining knowledge and information about the European Qualification System for Additive Manufacturing so that the results of the CLLAIM project can be put into practice. Committee members are also invited to the conference on 5 November 2020.

Please contact David Hardacre of Lloyd’s Register (David.Hardacre@lr.org) or TWI’s Alicia Gonzalez (alicia.gonzalez@twi.co.uk) for more details on becoming a committee member.

Details and registration for the final CLLAIM conference can be found on the CLLAIM website: http://cllaimprojectam.eu/news-post5.html
