The Welding Institute is welcoming nominations for the 2020 Annual Awards.
The Young Engineer’s Award will be presented to the person under 40 years of age who has most significantly contributed to the advancement of welding technology during the period of five years preceding the year of the Award. Last year the award was presented jointly to Tyler London of TWI Ltd and Tariq Al Ghamdi of Saudi Aramco
The Young Engineer Award was created in recognition of Leslie Lidstone who, within his career, significantly contributed to the welding industry in the UK and Sweden.
The Young Engineer Award was created by ESAB (UK) in recognition of Leslie Lidstone after his retirement from his position of Managing Director.
