TWI welcomed delegates from the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI) to our headquarters near Cambridge. The three-day visit came as part of an ongoing programme of work drawing on TWI’s technical knowledge and experience of managing technologies and operating a technology-focused business.
JITRI’s vice president, Paul Burrows, was among the 13 visitors who took part in a training course detailing the effective management of technology and research and development.
This visit follows a 2017 TWI membership agreement signed by JITRI CEO, Professor Qing Liu, at their corporate headquarters in Nanjing.
JITRI is a governmental research and technology organisation created with the aim of promoting research and development activities in China’s Jiangsu province. With a focus on bridging the gap between fundamental technology research and its commercialization, JITRI has 47 specialty research institutes and employs over 7,000 personnel.
