TWI Technology Fellow, Mike Troughton has been nominated for a BSI Standards Makers Award from the British Standards Institution.
The BSI Standards Makers Awards (previously called the BSI Standards Awards) have been running since 2014 to recognise outstanding work contributions from standards makers, including awards ranging from those for best new members to leaders.
Mike Troughton has been nominated for the ‘Representing the UK’ award as a reflection of the esteem he is held in by his fellow standards makers. The award recognises exceptional contributions by committee members when serving as the UK Delegate to an international and/or European committee. Mike will now attend the BSI Standards Conference and Awards on 21 November at the Hard Rock Hotel in London.
