TWI Numerical Modelling and Optimisation staff, Tyler London and Madie Allen represented TWI at the 2019 SIMULIA EuroNorth Regional User Meeting in Liverpool.
The event, which brought together customers from the UK, Nordics and Benelux for two days to learn from simulation experts in multiple industries, SIMULIA R&D and local teams, took place 30-31 October 2019.
Tyler London and Madie Allen presented to the conference on the subject of ‘Predicting the Microstructure of Additively Manufactured Parts using Cellular Automata and Abaqus.'
The free event included technical customer papers, keynote speeches, an interactive exhibition, discovery and technology sessions and more besides.
The event was designed for industry professionals, engineering teams, team leaders, managers and directors with an interest in state of the art structural, fluids and electromagnetic simulations.
With themes including multiscale, multi-discipline simulation and automation, the event gave an insight into how to leverage the maximum benefit from simulation technology.
