TWI is pleased to announce its participation in EURO PM2019 to understand the latest perspectives and developments related to powder metallurgy (PM) materials.
Dr Raja Khan will be attending the four days event as part of his role leading European projects; H2020 SUPREME, H2020 GeoCoat, Cleansky2 C-ALM AOHE and a European space agency (ESA) project related to powder metallurgy based materials for high wear resistance, high hardness and high temperature. A poster titled ‘Hot Isostatic Pressing of Inconel 625’ will also be presented in this event.
TWI has a broad range of ongoing powder metallurgy related activities ranging from advanced manufacturing, such as near net shape powder metallurgy hot isostatic pressing (NNS PM HIP) for aerospace applications to the laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) parts manufacturing for power generation.
