A cluster connect breakfast event was held recently at the TWI Technology Centre North East in Middlesbrough.
The event was held in conjunction with NEPIC (North East Processing Industry Cluster) and included a series of member presentations followed by a networking session.
TWI provided breakfast for the attendees and speakers, who included:

- Andrew Williams (E-Max Systems)
- Beth Fisher and Jamie Brunskill (Hand Picked Hotels)
- Ben Cohen (Langfields)
- Lorraine Braben (Lorraine Braben Consultancy)
- Claire Wheeler (Business Cogs)
Following the networking session, the delegates were provided with a tour of the TWI facilities, including the dive tank area, surface and coatings lab and engineering hall, and Tony Kraus provided a live demonstration of butt fusion welding of polyethylene pipe.
The event was organised and hosted by TWI’s Michelle Forster and Gareth Fletcher while Senior Project Leader for non-destructive testing, James Kern presented on behalf of TWI.
