Catherine Richardson, a student from Cambridge Regional College, has won CRC’s Student of the Year Award for HE Mechanical Engineering. Catherine has been working in the metallography lab at TWI while working towards her HND in Mechanical Engineering.
Catherine has now completed her HND - an achievement which usually takes two years to complete – in an impressive one year.
She plans to now go on to prepare for her NVQ Level 4 in mechanical engineering, during which she will be working as a technician full time.
After she attains this level, Catherine intends to study towards the top-up degree course and stay on at TWI in the metallography lab.
We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Catherine for her achievement.
