Representatives of Austrian Cooperative Research, the collective organisation for Austrian Research and Technology Organisations were welcomed to TWI on Monday, 3 June, 2019.
The party of around 30 CEOs and senior staff from a range of research organisations, as well as government officials and members of the press, visited TWI’s headquarters near Cambridge, where they were given an introduction to TWI, followed by a tour of the facilities.
The appointment at TWI formed part of a wider three-day visit to the UK that took in various sites around London and Cambridge, including walking tours of both cities.
The visit was well-received by the Austrian delegates who were able to gain an insight into how TWI operates, the work conducted by the organisation along with some of our latest projects and developments. In particular, TWI’s recent developments in post-graduate research and education, and university collaboration were discussed.
