CSWIP 3.0 Training Held at Chiang Mai Technical College

Thu, 25 September, 2025

TWI Thailand successfully conducted its latest outstation CSWIP 3.0 Visual Welding Inspector training classes at Chiang Mai Technical College (CMTC), Northern Thailand. Two sessions were held on 15–16 September and 17–18 September 2025, providing aspiring welding inspectors with the knowledge and practical skills required to step confidently into the industry.

This initiative is part of the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP), a collaborative effort designed to strengthen technical knowledge, improve employability, and align training with international standards. SEASEP’s objective is to equip students and industry personnel with practical skills, raise competency levels, and create a safer and more sustainable industrial environment across the region.

Following the positive response from our previous outstation classes at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL) in July, TWI Thailand has now expanded its training footprint within Northern Thailand by partnering with CMTC. This expansion reflects our mission to extend opportunities to future qualified inspectors, foster safety in workplaces, and build a pool of competent professionals for Thailand’s growing industries.

TWI Thailand remains strongly committed to developing the skills of students and technical personnel. By bringing high-quality training closer to learners, we ensure that they can benefit from globally recognized certifications while supporting industry needs with well-prepared and qualified personnel.

Through these efforts, TWI Thailand continues to invest in people, strengthen the workforce, and contribute towards raising industry standards nationwide.
