TWI principal project leader, Joao Gandra has been invited to present at a seminar being held by the University of Sheffield on 16 February 2022.
The event is being organised by the university’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering, with Joao presenting on the topic of the ‘Use of Friction Welding for Space Manufacturing.’
The talk is one of a series of seminars organised by the university as part of the curriculum for first year PhD students. The aim of the seminars is to inspire and develop the competencies of the students by exposing them to real world practical examples and case studies of innovative research.
The seminars will also be open to the University of Sheffield’s wider academic community and their network of external research partners.
