TWI is supporting the Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub. Developed by Digital Catapult, it is a digital innovation ecosystem designed to empower individuals and organisations to work together to make supply chains smarter.
Applications are now open for five associated supply chain challenges:
- Supply chain risk, supply chain sustainability, and supply and demand imbalances: Seeks UK startups, scaleups, and SME enterprises with innovative technology solutions to these challenges. Successful applicants will work closely with Digital Catapult and leading UK manufacturers to develop a technological proof of value concept and receive funding worth £80k
- Supply chain resilience and collaboration: Open to researchers and academics who are tasked to define a research framework or model to address these challenges, receiving a grant worth £40k
The programme aims to accelerate the adoption and inclusion of advanced cutting-edge digital technology in UK manufacturing supply chains by creating a collaborative ecosystem of big businesses, technology start-ups, and academics who will work to make UK supply chains efficient, resilient and sustainable.
