The Welding Institute is holding a Technical Group event dedicated to the topic of high strength steels on 9 November 2023.
There is still time to register to attend this in-person event, which is taking place at the premises of TWI Industrial Member company, ESAB in Haydock, Lancashire.
Open to both Members and non-Members, this informative event is suitable for welding engineers, production personnel, inspection and QC personnel, and welding metallurgists working in the structural, offshore, and process industries. The event will also be of interest to engineering students, welding technicians and industrial project personnel.
Experts from TWI and ESAB are among the speakers lined up to present on the day, offering information about the manufacture, properties and weldability of high strength steels, along with details of the development of ultra-high strength filler metals.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to see different welding equipment systems and learn about the latest developments in weld monitoring and control software.
