TWI Project Leader Vitalijs Jefimovs and Technology Fellow Colin Ribton are both due to attend Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM on the 6 and 7 September 2023 at UTAC Millbrook.
The two-day event includes four key features – a technology exhibition, a seminar programme, networking opportunities and the chance to ride and drive the latest research and development and commercially available vehicles.
During the event, Vitalijs and Colin will be exhibiting a world-first on the Faraday Battery Challenge stand – an electron beam welded battery pack for electric vehicle applications.
They will also be presenting on the collaborative ‘EB-Bat’ project, which has seen TWI team up with Cambridge Vacuum Engineering and Delta Cosworth to demonstrate the excellent quality and high productivity of electron beam welding for battery packs.
