What to Expect
A packed programme of presentations from our global experts begins with an introduction to the TWI Global Academy by Tat-Hean Gan, Director of Membership, Innovations and Global Operations.
This introduction and overview is followed by a suite of presentations, including insights into the TWI Diploma and an outline of internationally-recognised, CSWIP-certified training schemes.
In addition, there will be overviews of industry bodies like the International Institute of Welding (IIW) and the European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF), a discussion of the importance of NEBOSH and IOSH training, and an introduction to the work of the National Structural Integrity Research Centre (NSIRC) and the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP).
You will also be able to hear about the evolving field of plastic welding and inspection, Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training and our unique underwater training provision.
Plus, there will also be an introduction to the ever-growing TWI Virtual Academy and its online learning tools, which are offering flexible avenues to supported learning regardless of location.
