We are delighted to announce that Osaka Fuji Corporation - Process Division has joined us as a new TWI Industrial Member.
The Osaka Fuji Corporation have decades of experience in steel manufacturing process work, including machining, welding and thermal spraying, slicing processes, engineering design and the manufacture of industrial machinery.
Having begun via ingot moulding and surface plate repair work at Sumitomo Metal Industries' Osaka Steel Works in 1953, the Osaka Fuji Corporation was established on 3 April 1955, with work beginning at Sumitomo Metal Industries' Wakayama Steel Works.
With a focus on ‘good faith,’ Osaka Fuji Corporation expanded over the ensuing decades and now utilise an array of technology for the benefit of society, addressing the needs of the next generation with new and original technologies while also seeking out new challenges.
Now working on areas including surface modification and using a variety of welding and spray techniques, Osaka Fuji Corporation said, “TWI's expertise matches many of these of us, and we look forward to being exposed to this knowledge and anticipate that it will enable us to further develop our research.”
