TWI has been working as part of a collaborative project team on the GEOPRO Project to make geothermal energy more efficient and cost-effective.

Including details of a poster presentation at the 18th International Symposium on Experimental Mineralogy, Petrology, and Geochemistry (EMPG-XVIII) in Milan, and the sharing of project details at the WENERGY Clean Energy Technologies Fair in Izmir, the newsletter offers project updates, achievements and the path forward for geothermal energy exploitation.
In addition, the newsletter provides details of the publication of a project paper, ‘Cold Water Injection near the Magmatic Heat Source can Enhance Production from High-Enthalpy Geothermal Fields,’ in the Geothermics journal.
